MasterFILE Premier

 MasterFILE Premiere contains full text for more than 1,900 periodicals covering general reference, business, health, education, general science, multi-cultural issues and much more.  This database also contains full text for more than 160 reference books, 88,000 biographies, 60,000 primary source documents, and an Image Collection of 91,000 photos, maps and flags.

Academic Search Elite

 Academic institutions worldwide depend on this database for their core resource of scholarly information. Academic Search Elite contains full text for 1,700 journals.  More than 100 journals have PDF images back to 1985.

Business Source Elite

 Business Source Elite provides full text coverage for 1,075 business periodicals ranging from general magazines to trade publications and top management journals. 

Health Source: Consumer Edition

 This resource provides access to more than 300 full text consumer health periodicals including American Fitness, Better Nutrition, Fit Pregnancy, Harvard Health Letter, Health-Facts, Men's Health, Muscle & Fitness, Prevention, Vegetarian Times, Women's Health Weekly and more.  Also included in this database is searchable full text for more than 1,000 health -related pamphlets; 20 health reference books, including books, published by the People's Medical Society; 7,000 Clinical Reference Systems reports (in English and Spanish); and Stedman's Medical Dictionary.  This full text database covers topics such as AIDS, cancer, diabetes, drugs & alcohol, aging, fitness, nutrition & dietetics, children's health, women's health, etc...

MAS Ultra (School Edition)

 contains full text for nearly 500 popular, high school magazines including America's Civil War, American Heritage, American History, American Visions, Archaeology, Astronomy, Bioscience, Careers & Colleges, Civil War Times Illustrated, CQ Weekly, Discover, Economist, History Today, Nation, National Review, New republic, New Scientist, Popular Science, Science News, Scientific American, Smithsonian, World War II, etc.. All full text articles are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles). Full text is also available for full for 88,000 biographies and 60,000 primary source documents.  Additionally, MAS Ultra (School Edition) contains more than 540 pamphlets, nearly 150 reference books including the Columbia Encyclopedia, the CIA World Fact Book and World Almanac & Book of Facts, and Image Collection of 91,000 photos, maps & flags, color PDF's and expanded full text backfiles (back to 1975) for key magazines.

Newspaper Source

 Full text coverage for more than 200 newspapers, newswires and other sources. TOPICsearch

 This current events database allows researchers to explore social, political and economic issues, scientific discoveries and other popular topics discussed in today's classrooms.  TOPICsearch contains full text for over 50,000 articles from more than 3,000 diverse sources including internation and regional newspapers, EBSCO's unparalleled periodicals collection, biographies, public opinion polls, book reviews, pamphlets, government information and EBSCO's Current Issues database.

Middle Search Plus

 Designed for middle school libraries. Contains 140popular middle school magazines.  All full text articles are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles).  Full text is also available for biographies, historical essays and student pamphlets.  Additionally, Middle Search Plus contains primary source documents including Essential Documents in American History, reference books including the Funk & Wagnalls New Encyclopedia and American Heritage Dictionary, 4thEdition from Houghton Mifflin, the Encyclopedia of Animals, and an Image Collection.

Primary Search

 Primary Search is designed specifically for elementary school libraries, contains full text for more than 50 popular, elementary school magazines .  All full text articles are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles).  Full text is also available for 100 student pamphlets.  Additionally, Primary Search includes the Encyclopedia of Animals, and features Funk & Wagnalls New Encyclopedia which provides students with easy-to-read encyclopedic entries written especially for kids.  The database also provides the American Heritage Children's Dictionary, 3rd Edition from Houghton Mifflin, and an Image Collection.

Professional Development Collection

 Provides a hightly specialized collection of electronic information especially for professional educators, professional librarians and education researchers.  Includes full text for Chronicle of Higher Education, Educational Leadership, Journal of Education, Journal of Learning Disabilities, Theory Into Practice, and nearly 480 additional education and library science journals.  This database also provides full text for more than 165 education pamphlets and will soon contain full text for scholarly monographs.

ERIC

 The Educational Resource Information Center, is a national information system supported by the US Department of Education, the National Library of Education and the Office of Educational Research and Improvement.  It provides access to information from journals included in the Current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index.  ERIC provides full text of more than 2,200 digest along with references for additional information and citations and abstracts from over 1,000 educational and education-related journals.

NoveList

This is an online reader's advisory service that helps librarians and readers find fiction books based on books they have read or topics in which they are interested.  Readers can search for books by title, author or by simply describing a book they would like to read.  this database includes more than 100,000 fiction titles for all ages with subject and keyword access; more than 36,000 individual subject headings(fiction) based on Hennepin County Public Library's renowned cataloging system and more than 75,000 full text reviews and descriptions from Booklist, Library Journal, School Library Journal, Publishers, Weekly and others.  NoveList also offers links to author homepages and links to other fiction-related Web sites as well as over 1,200 pre-constructed booklists on popular themes and topics.  Searches can be limited by reading level, using Lexile scores to match readers with books geared to their reading ability.
